2024 Impact

In 2024, Heard vetted and made financial contributions to non-profit organizations and families in need with the goal of helping spread the mission of supporting parents, the community, and mental health advocacy. We were able to do this thanks to the gracious generosity of Heard supporters, who we can’t thank enough.

Postpartum Support Center, San Rafael

Postpartum Support Center in San Rafael, California was opened in 2019 with a goal of helping parents overcome challenges with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). They’re already helping hundreds of parents each month and it has become a source of hope for moms in the region. Their mission is to provide a comprehensive support system and safe place for mothers/parents and families in need and to promote awareness and prevention of Perinatal Mental Health Disorders. They strive to bridge the perinatal mental health treatment gap by normalizing and destigmatizing these disorders. All of their programs are offered free of charge.

Bambino Basket

Bambino Basket collects like-new baby clothing through donations (sizes newborn- 7 years) at their storefront in Beverly, MA. They also accept diapers, wipes and new baby bottles as well as new baby items.

They partner with several local organizations that provide help to families with young children in critical need of basic supplies. Some of the organizations they partner with include Wellspring, Action Inc., and HAWC.

Caregivers referred by a partnering agency shop at their store free of charge. Social workers may also shop for families – filling baskets on their behalf and delivering to their doorsteps.

James P. Harrington Organization

Based in Marshfield, Massachusetts, JPH is dedicated to addressing the urgent need for mental health support, a critical focus of our mission at Heard. With one in five adults experiencing mental health issues each year and nearly half of those struggling without the necessary assistance, JPH strives to bridge critical gaps in care. The organization believes that equitable access to holistic programs is essential for fostering resilience and growth within the community.

Postpartum Support International - MA Chapter

Postpartum Support International (PSI) is the world’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to helping those suffering from perinatal mood disorders, the most common complication of childbirth. The Massachusetts Chapter’s mission is to increase awareness, education, prevention, and treatment of perinatal mental health issues affecting individuals, their families, and support systems in all areas of Massachusetts.

Be Like Kat

In 2022, Kat Boskovic tragically lost her life in a car crash. Kat was known to be incredibly kind, inclusive, funny, and a gifted runner. Be Like Kat is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to positively impact the world. They do this by providing scholarships to high school students who have overcome adversity and demonstrated hard work and determination. They also donate to worthy organizations while carrying Kat’s spirit forward.

Families in need

In 2024, Heard supported families suffering from child loss, but still navigating the demands of raising their families. To help them through a time of crisis and thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we were able to support them with the cost and logistics of mental healthcare provided by fully licensed therapists.
