With Love

What began in Duxbury, Massachusetts —the Clancy family’s hometown—on the anniversary of the unimaginable loss of Cora, Dawson, and Callan has grown into a year-round movement of love and gratitude.

On January 24, the anniversary of the Clancy children’s passing, the Duxbury community first came together to honor their lives with kindness. With Love From Duxbury Day now serves as both a day of remembrance and a spark for year-round compassion.

• Annual Anchor: Each January 24, neighbors, schools, businesses, and friends join in a burst of kindness—from surprise notes to community service—in honor of Cora, Dawson, and Callan.

• Year-Round Living: We invite everyone to carry this spirit forward, proving that love is stronger than grief and that love always wins.

Inspired by Cora’s bedtime prayer—“Thank you for a beautiful day in the neighborhood”—and guided by our belief that love always wins, the Heard Foundation invites everyone to fill their neighborhoods with everyday acts of care and connection.
